Merchandise & POS Lead
Own the booth: inventory, card readers, donation stations, and the totals at the end of the night.
Full training provided. Most of our team joined with no events background.
The role
You'll prepare merchandise orders, set up checkout, train volunteers on the payment tools, and reconcile sales and donations before you leave the site. Numbers matter here, and so does how you treat a donor.
What you'll do
- Count, box, and stage merchandise for each event
- Set up merch booths, card readers, and donation stations
- Brief volunteers on checkout and donor etiquette
- Reconcile sales and donation totals the same night
Who thrives here
- Careful with inventory, cash, and numbers
- Friendly and patient with donors and volunteers
- Comfortable with tablets and payment apps
- Retail, cashier, or hospitality experience is a plus
